The Embassy hosted an even on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the modern diplomatic service of Belarus

On March 5, 2024, the Embassy of Belarus in Belgium hosted a classical music concert and a reception dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the modern diplomatic service of Belarus.

The famous Belarusian pianist prof. Timur Sergeenya performed works by P.I. Tchaikovsky.

The Charge d’Affaires Ekaterina Shatokhina in her remarks mentioned the main stages of formation of the modern diplomatic service of Belarus.

It was also noted that in 2024 Belarus celebrates the 80th anniversary of liberation from the Nazi invaders. The Charge d’Affaires emphasized that the country honors history and remembers the consequences of destructive wars, and today Minsk is pursuing a peaceful foreign policy aimed at creation and progress.

The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps in Brussels, including the heads of about 20 diplomatic missions, as well as the Belgian businessmen.
