The Embassy took part in the wreath-laying ceremony in Brussels on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Great Victory

On May 9, 2023, a memorial ceremony to commemorate the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was held at the Brussels Cemetery.

Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Belarus in the Kingdom of Belgium Ekaterina Shatokhina and the Embassy’s staff, together with diplomats from certain CIS countries, laid wreaths at the memorial to the Soviet citizens fallen during the liberation of Belgium, as well as at the monument “Wall of the Shot” in honor of the Belgians who died during the Second World War.
