The concert dedicated to the National Unity Day of the Republic of Belarus
23.09.2024On September 23, 2024, the Embassy of Belarus in Belgium hosted a classical music concert dedicated to the National Unity Day of the Republic of Belarus.

The famous Belarusian pianist, Professor Sergeyenia Timur performed famous classical works by F. Schubert and F. Liszt. However, the highlight of the evening was the performance of his own arrangement of the famous Belarusian composition «Moj rodny kut» and the author's work «Russian Rhapsody».

As part of the event, an art exhibition by the Belarusian author Anna Bryndza was presented. Her paintings combined all the best manifestations of our Motherland: portraits of famous Belarusian authors Yanka Kupala and Yakub Kolas; a stork spreading its wings, as well as «the gates of Minsk» in Belarusian motifs.

The Charge d'Affaires Ekaterina Shatokhina in her address focused on the symbolism of this holiday for the Belarusian people, both its historical component and the significance of «unity» in the modern world.
The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps in Brussels, Belgian and European organizations, business and the Belarusian diaspora in Belgium.
