The Embassy took part in the wreath-laying ceremony on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the Great Victory

On May 9, 2024, on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a memorial ceremony was held at the Brussels Cemetery.

Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Belarus in the Kingdom of Belgium Ekaterina Shatokhina and the Embassy personnel, together with diplomats from a number of CIS countries, laid wreaths at the memorial to the Soviet citizens fallen during the liberation of Belgium, as well as at the monument “Wall of the Executed” in honor of the Belgians who died during the war.
