Charge d’Affaires took part in the event honoring the memory of Hugo Chavez

On March 7, 2024, the Charge d’Affaires of Belarus in Belgium Mrs. Ekaterina Shatokhina took part in the event to honor the memory of the former President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez. The commemorative event was organized by the Embassy of Venezuela in Brussels.

In her remarks, the Chargé d’Affaires noted the basis of the Belarusian-Venezuelan relations laid by Mr. Chavez. It was emphasized that in Belarus El Comandante is remembered as a true friend of the country.
