Ambassador of Belarus Aleksandr Mikhnevich presents credentials to the Grand Duke of Luxembourg
02.03.2017On March 2, 2017 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Mikhnevich presented his Letters of Credence to Grand Duke Henry of Luxembourg.

The Belarusian Ambassador and the Grand Duke discussed the current Belarus-EU relations, cooperation between Belarus and Luxembourg including in investment and IT spheres, as well as opportunities to promote bilateral contacts in education and culture.
The Ambassador expressed to the Grand Duke his gratitude for the assistance rendered by Luxembourg charities for the rehabilitation of the Chernobyl-affected areas. He also expressed Belarus willingness to re-establish health rehabilitation programs for Belarusian children.
During his visit to Luxembourg, Aleksandr Mikhnevich also met with Marshall of the Court Lucien Weiler and Chief of Protocol of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs Paul Schmit.
