Ambassador of Belarus A.Mikhnevich participates in the seminar of the Flemish Chamber of Commerce for Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus

On February 13, 2017 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Kingdom of Belgium Aleksandr Mikhnevich took part in the annual seminar organized in Antwerp by the Flemish Chamber of Commerce for Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. The event was attended by about 50 representatives of business, diplomatic corps and diaspora.

In his speech A.Mikhnevich stressed out export, investment and tourism potential of our country, paying particular attention to possibilities that arise with the completion of construction of the park «Great Stone» and creation of logistic chains between the park and the ports of Western Europe, including the ones of Antwerp and Ghent.

The head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission also held talks with Deputy Mayor and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the port of Antwerp Marc Van Peel. The sides discussed further bilateral cooperation in logistics, possible dates of the visit of M.Van Peel to Belarus at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus.
