European Parliament hosts Art Exhibition «Contemporary Art in Belarus»

On September 4, the Art Exhibition «Contemporary Art in Belarus» was opened in the building of the European Parliament in Brussels. The exhibition is organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus to the Kingdom of Belgium in cooperation with Priorbank JSC and with the support of the European Parliament deputy Andrejs Mamykins.

The artistic curator of the exhibition is Belarusian artist, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Belarus, Professor Viktor Alshevsky.

The exhibition includes 36 works of contemporary Belarusian artists which were selected from the avant-garde art collection, owned by Priorbank JSC.

The opening of the exhibition was attended by deputies and staff of the European Parliament, foreign diplomats, journalists, representatives of public organizations.
