Seminar on trade and economic cooperation took place at the Embassy

On November 13 Embassy of Belarus to Belgium hosted a seminar on trade and economic cooperation for the European business circles. Ambassador of Belarus Mr. Andrei Yeudachenka described current situation and perspectives of development of the Belarus economy, of its cooperation with the European Union, Belgium and Luxembourg.

Mr. Karel Vanhoorebeke, the Honorary Consul of Belarus in Gent, Chairman of the Flemish Chamber for the Customs Union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan, presented the plans of Chamber activities to promote cooperation with Belarus in 2015-2016. Mr. Etienne Vauthier, c-founder of Belarus-Belgium export-import agency Belexia spoke about prospective areas for cooperation between Belarusian and European companies.

The head of the diplomatic mission and its employees answered the questions of the participants related to practical issues of establishing and developing trade and economic cooperation with Belarus.

Forty representatives of the business circles from Belgium, Luxembourg and France took part in the seminar.
