Ambassador A.Mikhnevich meets Belgian parliamentarians
23.08.2016On August 22, 2016 Aleksandr Mikhnevich, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Kingdom of Belgium, met with Pilippe Blanchart, Member of the Federal Parliament, Deputy-Head of the “Belgium-Belarus” interparliamentary group, and Jean-Pol Henry, representative of the Socialist Party, MP from 1983 to 2007.
A.Mikhnevich informed the Belgian parliamentarians about the course of the parliamentary election campaign in Belarus and steady progress in implementation of the OSCE/ODIHR recommendations achieved by the country.
The discussion was focused on strengthening Belarus-Belgium interpaliamentary contacts with a special emphasis on cooperation between regions and cities, including economic, commercial and humanitarian activities.
