On May 9, 2018, Ambassador of Belarus to Belgium A.Mikhnevich, diplomats and employees of the Embassy with family members paid tribute at the Brussels cemetery “Ever” to Soviet soldiers and citizens who died during the Second World War in Belgium .

In addition to the Belarusian embassy, ​​heads and employees of diplomatic missions of a number of CIS countries, as well as of Bulgaria, Hungary, Venezuela, Vietnam, Germany, Greece, China, Cuba, Mongolia, Nicaragua, Serbia, Slovakia, the United States, the Czech Republic and other states took part in a ceremony.

Belarusian diplomats also honored the memory of the participants of the Belgian resistance.
