Euroclear representatives visit Belarus

The delegation of Euroclear was on a working visit to Belarus on September 7-8, 2017.

Euroclear is a Belgium-based financial services company that specializes in the settlement of securities transactions as well as the safekeeping and asset servicing of these securities.

During the visit, the Belgian delegation met in the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Belarus.

During the meeting in the Ministry of Finance of Belarus on September 7, the sides discussed the recent issuing of eurobonds by Belarus as well as joint plans for further cooperation.

During the meeting at the National Bank of Belarus on September 8, representatives of Euroclear dwelled on the company's activities, paying special attention to the services rendered by Euroclear to central banks of foreign countries.
The parties agreed to continue contacts aimed at further expanding of mutually beneficial cooperation.
