Aide-Memoire on EAEU-EU cooperation transmitted to the European Commission

On 13 October, Ambassador Andrei Yeudachenka, Permanent Representative of Belarus to the EU, and representatives of diplomatic missions of Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia met with Richard Szostak, diplomatic adviser to the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker.

On behalf of the Belarus Presidency in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Ambassador Yeudachenka transmitted to the representative of the European Commission a letter by Viktor Khristenko, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, addressed to President Juncker, as well as the Aide-Memoire “Eurasian Economic Union – European Union: Cooperation Outlines” approved by the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Grodno (Belarus) on 8 September 2015.

The parties briefly discussed possible modalities of the EAEU-EU cooperation.
