Ambassador A.Mikhnevich meets Group Chief Executive Officer of Delcredere | Ducroire

On February 12 Ambassador A.Mikhnevich met with Group Chief Executive Officer of Delcredere | Ducroire Mr. Dirk Terweduwe.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the recent decision by the OECD Working Group to transfer the Republic of Belarus to the 6th group of country risk classification as well as further steps of the Republic of Belarus under the new conditions.

Mr. Dirk Terweduwe listed the following reasons for the decision:
- macroeconomic indicators of Belarus showing positive trends;
- an increase in the country's gold and currency reserves;
- a positive history of Belarus in the implementation of external payment obligations.

During the meeting, Mr. Dirk Terweduwe was also invited to visit Belarus this year in order to see the state of affairs in the country and meet the leadership of key ministries.
