On a working visit to Belgium of Belarusian Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Mr. V.Grakun

The delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus headed by Deputy Minister Mr. V.Grakun was on a working visit to Belgium on November 12-14, 2018.

During the visit, the Belarusian delegation held talks with the Belgian businessman M.Becken, who is promoting Belarusian agricultural equipment on the Belgian market. The parties discussed the prospects for joint participation in agricultural exhibitions and fairs to be held in Belgium in 2019.

In addition, on November 13 the delegation held negotiations with the manufacturer of flax harvesting equipment, the head of “Depoortere” company Mr. Rick Depoortere. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the prospects of supplying a number of flax harvesting machines to Belarus, as well as of resuming their joint assembling in Belarus. This issue was also covered during the meeting of the Belarusian delegation with the experts of the Belgian export insurance agency “Credendo”.
