Belarus-EU Economic forum in Luxembourg

The Belarus-EU Economic Forum «Belarus. Invest in tomorrow» was held in Luxembourg on October 27, 2017.

More than 200 business representatives from Belarus, Luxembourg, Belgium, France, Germany and other countries took part in the events of the forum, as well as high-level representatives of international, European and Luxembourg structures, including European Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy & Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn, Vice President of the European Investment Bank Alexander Stubb, Deputy Director-General of the World Trade Organization Alan Wm. Wolff and Secretary of State for the Economy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Francine Closener.

During the forum 8 bilateral agreements were signed.

Within the framework of the forum, the head of the Belarusian delegation Prime Minister A.Kobyakov held a number of bilateral meetings: with European Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy & Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn, Vice President of the European Investment Bank Alexander Stubb, Deputy Director-General of the World Trade Organization Alan Wm. Wolff. Numerous negotiations between the Belarusian government delegation and representatives of European business and potential investors were also held at the sidelines of the Forum.
