About the Belarusian Art Exhibition in the Committee of the Regions of the European Union

The art exhibition «Contemporary Art in Belarus», organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Kingdom of Belgium and «Priorbank» JSC, is held in the building of the Committee of the Regions of the European Union in Brussels from October 31 to November 14, 2017.

The exhibition includes 36 paintings of contemporary Belarusian artists selected from the «Priorbank» JSC collection of the creative intellectual avant-garde works of the 20-21 century.

Members of the Committee of the Regions of the European Union and of other European institutions, foreign diplomats, representatives of public organizations, as well as numerous guests of this European structure have an opportunity to visit the exhibition.

In view of 8th edition of the European Public Communication Conference, held on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 November 2017 and gathered more than 600 experts on communication from all over Europe, the Exhibition of contemporary Belarusian artists obtained general recognition of the participants.

On November 10, 2017, in the building of the Committee of the Regions, Ambassador A. Mikhnevich met with the Deputy Head of the Directorate of the Committee of the Regions for the functioning of the ENVE, NAT and CIVEX Commissions, for the CORLEAP Conference, as well as for the ARLEM Assembly, Mr. Michael Collins, and Member of the cabinet of the Committee of the Regions Chairman, Mr. Filippo Terruso. The interlocutors got acquainted with the artworks of the exhibition, as well as exchanged views on a number of issues on the international agenda.
