BELARUS: 14th International Festival of folk art “Wreath of Friendship”

Dear friends,

It’s a great pleasure to announce that the 14th International “Wreath of Friendship” Festival of folk art will take place in the city of Bobruisk (Belarus), on 29 June – 3 July 2017.

During its more than 10 year-long history, the Festival has become a stage for more than 8000 artists from over 30 countries, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Germany, Spain, Israel, India, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Mexico, Turkey, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Romania, USA, Ukraine, France, Sweden and Estonia.

The Festival is an important platform in Belarus with a unique and convivial atmosphere. It is an expression of people’s aspiration for friendship and mutual understanding through intercultural dialogue.

All Belgian folk artists and performers are kindly invited to come to Belarus and take part in the “Wreath of Friendship” festivities.

The organizers cover board and lodging for up to 30 participants from your country. Please send the completed application forms to the e-mail of the organizers of the event kultura-bobr@tut.by by 1 March 2017 at the latest.
